Charlies Catering Hire Service began in the summer of 1996. Yvonne Baker and her son Robbie Lewis, who was already in the trade, decided it was the right time to set up their own business. Yvonne introduced the name ‘Charlies’, as Robbie's partner had just given birth to their first son who is named Charlie.
We are a friendly family business who started with just the bare minimum - but we have grown to a size where we can now compete with all the big names. The difference with Charlies as opposed to any other hire company is that we keep a very close monitor on an order that has been taken...right through to when the equipment is returned, washed up and then put away - we do not charge you, the customer for the things that have not gone astray.
We are here to make your function run as smoothly as possible and as a precaution all orders are checked and double checked to make sure that everything arrives for you event. Its simple, we are in the business to get the business and without your valued custom we would not have one!
